## **Q1**
Did the rival demigods create the zombie apocalypse, or was it caused by something else? If they didn’t, what’s their stance on the apocalypse? What’s the primary cause of enmity between the two groups? (Assuming it isn’t the apocalypse)
-Rigli_bot
**A**
The rival demigods didnt create the apocalypse, it was a last ditch effort from the god of Chaos, Vaelix
However the rival demigods do blame it on the main group as the group i focus on split out of the bad ones. So both division and the apocalypse are the primary sources of conflict

## **Q2**
What can you tell me about ringblades?
-Dewbear
**A**
So they are rings imbued with the power of the gods, which allow for summonable blades to the wearer, like stormlight's shardblades, but require the ring to function. These rings also imbue minor powers from the gods, such as control of water, fire, or other powers. So a demigod of one power, can have multiple rings and therefor multiple powers

**Q**What kind of factions are there in your post-apocalyptic world? What makes each unique?
-Dewbear
**A**
Theres Ironsoul, the group of demigods who have taken in mortals
There's mythborn, which is the enemy of the book
And a mysterious group in the old Georgia Square Mall, who will attack in a few chapters
Other than that there have been very few survivors they have come across

Why is Ivy going insane? What caused it, and how is she responding to this turn of events?
-Rigli_bot
**A**
Ivy isn't coping well with the dead coming alive, shes slowly getting worse and worse
Shes gonna solve some of my issues with having too many characters 👀

## **Q1**
Are there any intelligent undead? Anything resembling liches or other kinds of powerful undead? What are the differences between the Slackjaws and the Hollow?
-Dewbear
**A**
Oo a good ole zombie question
There are no sentient undead or anything like someone tapped into the hive mind, the Hollow are people who turned while alive, tough to kill cuz its like killing a real person.
Slackjaws are returned dead, Hollow are Turned people, who are now dead.
Now the interesting thing is that the Hollow consume people to get stronger, keeping themselves "alive" persay.
Slackjaws consume people to *stay* strong and able to eat people and walk. Slackjaws are progressively rotting, vs Hollow who arent actively rotting while theyre kept fed.

## Q1
What can you tell me about wraithblades? You had mentioned they function to hemalurgy? What makes it similar? What makes it different?
-Dewbear
**A**
Okay so wraith blades, only made from pure adamantium, are standard type swords, not summonable. If you kill a demigod by stabbing their heart, the blade basically inherits the power
So, not summonable, only made from pure god metal
BUT it gives the power of the demigod, with NO drawback. So you can use it unlimitedly. Very powerful stuff.

## **Q2**
Do ringblades and spikeblades actually have rings and spikes on them? How do they fit into the culture of your setting?
-Limpy
**A**
Ringblades are rings that have a summonable blade "tied" to them. Said blade is made of adamantium, otherwise known as godmetal. In the future it will be a cultural thing like a proposal gift, but right now theyre brand new. Spikeblades are literally made of a smallish spike of adamantium, theyre less powerful than ringblades, but you can have and use more than 2 at once. They must be inserted into an arm or leg or something to work, they're too heavy for a normal earring.

### Followup
**Q**
Do people see Spikeblades as grotesque? Are the individual blades different from one another? Is there a reason to have more than two?
-Limpy
**A**
More spikeblades means more different powers. Mortals can also use them. And people dont really see it as grotesque, moreso as a tool

## Q3
@ anyone who wants to answer:
How have/will your characters changed over the course of the story?
-Sudo
**A**
Jack, Charlie and Raven were lifelong friends (charlie and Raven are twins) Jack got with Charlie romantically, which made Raven sad, and now Charlie is about to die and Raven and Jack are gonna explode with power when she does. Both will eventually get together, but in the immediate future it makes them more aggressive and angry toward enemies

## Q4
@ Anyone ✨
If your characters existed on modern day earth, what would a Halloween movie night look like for your them? Do they prefer cozy Halloween movies or scary Halloween movies? Would they have a night to themselves or would they invite friends?
-Dewbear
**A**
Jack wouldnt care, Raven and Nova would prefer the scary ones. They'd probably just stay at home

## Q5
Question for All
What does your character think of violence? Do they think it is ever justified or deserved?
-LadyLameness
**A**
Most would say violence is a good answer. Some more often than not. Nova specifically always would feel that.

## Q6
A few (some silly) questions to anyone who wants them:
1. What is/would be your protagonist's favourite means of transport?
2. Would your protagonist call Frankenstein's Monster Frankenstein, correct people about Frankenstein being the doctor, or not care?
3. How would your protagonist react to/handle the trolley problem
-endnighthazer
**A**
I cant give all 9's answers cuz there's a ton of overlap.
1. Nova has wings, she prefers to fly, Raven would prefer minute control of the vehicle, so motorcycle. Jack likes control so a truck or car. Rose would probably be fine with a train.
2. Nova, Raven, and Rose would be adament that it is in fact the doctor named Frankenstein. Jack would like to annoy them by doing it wrong, but would also call it Frankensteins monster. Rhett wouldnt care.
3. Raven would throw it out cuz she thinks its stupid, Jack would pull the switch, Rose would say she'd let it happen. Nova would want everyone dead

## Q1
What kind of mythos do you have surrounding the gods of BWR? Do they have fabled stories like the Egyptian/Greek/Norse deities? Further, at the start of BWR, how long have the zombies been around?
-Dewbear
**A**
Very much like the norse gods or Greek gods, though i haven't written any yet. I think imma do that for NaNo
Zombies have only been around for about a month now.

## Q2
@ Anyone ✨
(Assuming your characters lived on a modern Earth) What is your character’s favorite Halloween candy? What is their least favorite?
-Dewbear
***A***
I think Jack would like plain dark chocolate
Raven would like Twix
Hunter would like snickers
Nova hates holidays and candy
Rhett would probably like kitkats
Rose would want like milk chocolate
All hate three musketeers and licorice

## Q3
@ anyone who wants to answer:
Intellect, morals, money, humor: Which of these are most or least important to your character in relationships?
(This can be romantic, but also friendship, family, colleagues, etc)
-Sudo
***A***
Generally peace is a virtue often sought out. Money is useless, fun is hard to come by, morals are gone. Intellect is another good thing in any relationship.

## Q4
@anyone who wants to answer: If your story has a magic system, is that magic mostly useful for combat or is it a more utility based magic? Or does it fall somewhere in-between? Bonus: What is a fun unusual use for your magic?
-Curly
***A***
Most of the houses's powers are best for combat, but minor teleportation and strength are good utilities, as is metal moving, telepathy, telekinesis, controlling wind, manipulating emotions, healing.

## Q1
The zombie story – did the apocalypse happen in the present day, or further down the line? What caused it?
-Rigli_bot
**A**
Pseudo present day. Think if a war broke out in America stopping innovation. Its set in 2091, but technology is like today. Culture has shifted back toward the 90s, most people not using cell phones or anything.
The god of Chaos, Vaelix caused it, in a last bit of power, causing the entire pantheon to die.

## Q2
Is there any fragment of previous governments left over after the zombies came into the picture? Something similar to the Enclave in Fallout (that’s really the best/only example I have) that set themselves up to survive the initial collapse, and is now trying to reinstate rule?
-Dewbear
***A***
There isn't, 99.9% of the population was slaughtered. The only real ones left to preserve society are a group of demigods. Most regular mortals who gain any traction become tyrants, and usually have a smallish group.

## Q1
Are there people going round deliberately killing others to make themselves more powerful, apart from that guy in the second book? What can people do with the divine splinters of power? Is it varied, or one or two specific things?
-Rigli_bot
***A***
So I'm not sure how the splinter stuff works, but there is a group deliberately killing people to steal their powers via wraithblades.
As far as the splinters go, I think the effect is super minimal, as the power is spread by all holding it. I'm really not sure how the splinter stuff works. I kinda wanna finish the story of this book, then when I go edit it, figure out the splinter stuff
